SMART Recovery teen group in Bridgeport is a peer support group ran by trained facilitators. It is for people seeking support with any struggle they may have: substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bullying, fighting, etc. SMART Recovery incorporates tools based on evidence-based addiction treatments, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
The Center for Family Justice provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking and child abuse in six Fairfield County towns: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
United Community & Family Services provides healthcare and community services to Plainfield and the surrounding areas. Services include: Outpatient Behavioral Health Services and Community Based Behavioral Health Services.
