Keep The Promise Coalition (KTP) is a grassroots group in Connecticut working to change the mental health system. They focus on peer-led, trauma-informed, and voluntary support, pushing back against forced treatment and promoting community-based options like peer-run respite centers. KTP fights for policy changes, shares education, and organizes with the belief that people with lived experience should have a say—“Nothing about us without us.”

Advocacy Unlimited is a peer-run group in Connecticut that supports mental health recovery through lived experience. They offer programs like Recovery Support Specialist training, Join Rise Be for young adults, the Hearing Voices Network, and Toivo, a holistic wellness center. Everything they do is non-clinical and trauma-informed, focusing on letting people define healing for themselves. They also run a daily Young Adult Warmline, offering peer support from noon to 9 p.m.

Health Equity Solutions (HES) works to make sure everyone in Connecticut has a fair shot at good health.
