SMART Recovery groups in Hamden are peer support groups ran by trained facilitators. It is for people seeking support with any struggle they may have: substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bullying, fighting, etc. SMART RecoveryÔ_incorporates tools based on evidence-based addiction treatments, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. This 4-point program offers specific tools and techniques for each of the program points:
