I once saw a picture that stated hope meant “hold on, pain ends.” As this may be true for some, I do understand that this may not be accurate for everyone. In my personal experience, hope is that invisible string that keeps me attached to the rest of the world and keeps me motivated and fighting for what it is I believe in and want for myself in this world. It’s like I am on one side, my destiny is on the other, and the only thing that connects us is a fine line- that is hope to me. Hope is my lifeline, my savior, my motivation and means of survival.
