March 18th was National Awkward Moments Day. In honor of that day, I shared an awkward moment where I stepped in dog poop while walking to school one day.
Basically, I didn’t realize I had stepped in dog poop until my second class of the day. I could smell the foul stench of feces all first period, but had no idea where it was coming from. In second period, a classmate pointed it out to me. Internally I felt embarrassed since I didn’t even see it myself, but I somehow had a strong poker face. Luckily, my superhero mom saved the day by bringing me another pair of shoes and socks that I wore for the rest of the school day.
