I have struggled since I was 13 to follow through with just about everything. I watched my parents bail on every family event, they never did what they said they would, and always let people down. I had wished many times to never follow their path, unfortunately it just happened to have followed me..
These past two years I have worked so hard on following through with what I say. I had quit on many things, people and actually myself for awhile.
But, Friday I graduated from Recovery University with a certification as a Recovery Support Specialists. This is the first time in years that I committed myself to school or class, and actually stuck with it.
I am so happy that I did this for myself.
