October 5th is Do Something Nice Day. It serves as a reminder that kindness is free. Any act of kindness, no matter how big or small can brighten someone’s day. Whether it’s holding the door open for someone, helping someone carry something, or even offering a friendly smile to a stranger, it can make all the difference. There’s a lot of chaos in the world right now, so doing anything nice is a great change of pace.
Global Handwashing Day
October 15th is Global Handwashing Day. This is something I feel should be recognized all day, every day. Good hygiene is important! It frustrates me when I see folks leave a public restroom without washing their hands. Then they go on to touch items that other people will touch too. Please, everyone, WASH YOUR HANDS!!
Global Cat Day
Global Cat Day is one of my favorite days since it celebrates my favorite animal. Cats are adorable creatures who deserve more love!
