The Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Services clinic offers evaluation and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders for adults ages 18 and over, under the auspices of John Dempsey Hospital. The clinic is handicapped accessible, offers free parking and is located in a modern office building just off the main UConn Health campus in Farmington. We provide essential psychiatric services for approximately 2,500 active patients (nearly 18,000 patient visits annually) who come from all over the state of Connecticut, as many as 75 percent of whom are insured by Medicare and/or Medicaid. We are therefore one of the larger public sector psychiatric clinics in the state. John Dempsey Hospital is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and accredited by the Joint Commission.
