The past couple of weekends, I’ve been able to get out for some very enjoyable recreational activities.
First, I hosted a Meetup event at It Ropes Adventure Course in New Haven. Myself and those who attended had a fun time! It was a great way to spend that Friday night.
The following weekend, I went to the 9th annual Compassionfest at SCSU which is “Connecticut’s largest and longest-running annual vegan and grassroots festival, dedicated to celebrating the values of justice, kindness, equality, and compassion.” Being in a space with likeminded folks was nice. While there, I was able to have some fun food from a restaurant that I haven’t eaten at in YEARS. They had become a popup food truck kind of joint and I was never able to get to where they traveled to until now! The food was just as good as I remembered. ~ T
