I’ve written about my debt in the past on here in this post and this post. But, I’m happy to give the final update: my debt is paid off!
This is not only super exciting, but it’s also such a relief because I’ve been paying $700 a month towards my debt, which has been brutal. I’m unbelievably happy that it has finally been paid off!
As much as it has sucked, the process has taught me that I’m totally capable of putting aside plenty of money every month. So now instead of putting that money towards paying off debt, I’m going to start putting it aside into savings.
I started the process of tackling my debt in March of 2023 when I was literally drowning in debt really due to interest. I couldn’t get my head above water and it was brutal. It’s been a long two years and I’m so happy it’s over. It felt like it was never going to end. Thankfully, I had a lot of supportive people in my corner as I dealt with it. I likely would not have been able to tackle the debt without my support system.
