The Most Common Excuse…

I don’t have time!

How often do you hear this, or catch yourself thinking this? I have always been somewhat of a scattered person, who has attempted to be responsible with a mind like a runaway train!

I recently found a book called 168 Hours – You have more time than you think
I just started, but it uses people’s stories and tips to look at time in a span of a week, and to log your average week to get a look at things.

It showed that many of us underestimate how many distractions we face, and overestimate how much actual work we do. I have to remind myself to prioritize better, and get better at saying no to things that aren’t always urgent. I have a bad habit of not devoting blocks of time on projects, then rushing when I am near the due date.

My other downfall is my phone. I truly believe in technology addiction. I Sometimes feel anxious if I can’t answer my phone or feel like someone needs to get a hold of me, whether is it for work or personal things!
