SOAR is a Court Support Services Division (CSSD) funded program that provides a group residential setting for juvenile boys. The program was created as a community-based alternative to state detention centers for boys deemed appropriate by the court. SOAR is a 6-bed program located in Hamden, offering a variety of evidence-based group programming as well as community-based activities.
