Parkview II at the Highlands
_ãThis 15-bed, intensively-supervised program is designed for individuals who have previously lived in state hospitals and have been prevented from community living by medical or severe behavioral challenges. The program provides a high level of supervision, intervention and support, and offers monitoring of medication and medical/dental conditions; socialization through individual and group activities; counseling; recreational activities, assistance with the management of finances; and linkages to appropriate community service providers. Parkview also assists residents in moving on to more independent living and working environments. Length of stay averages approximately 18 months._ã
