The Hartford Recovery Community Center is situated in the heart of the community. It is a warm and friendly place for people to come who support the recovery lifestyle. They offer peer-to-peer recovery support meetings, various CCAR and outside trainings, recovery coaching, GED classes, computers and training for employment searching, Telephone Recovery Support Program, WIRED (Women in Recovery through Enhanced Design to make crafts), a hiking club, a new healthy living group, and a recovery bookstore, as well as other volunteer opportunities. It is a place to come and receive re-entry and/or recovery support to build a vibrant recovery lifestyle.
