Get a Good Night’s Sleep 😴

When I get at least six hours of sleep at night, I feel rested enough to start my day on a good note. Getting eight hours of sleep is just the icing on the cake.

Do Something Creative 🎨

Getting those creative juices can help distract you from whatever may be bothering you. Your creation could be as simple as small doodles in your notebook.

Stay Hydrated 💧

This is always important. Staying hydrated reduces my headaches and I can feel it flush out the toxins in my face.

Eat Your Veggies 🥦

I love carbs as much as the next person, but I think incorporating some greens into your meals increases your health. I used to dislike broccoli, but now it’s a staple of some of my dinners.

Start Moving 🚶

As someone who used to be sedentary all day, every day, any kind of movement helps. Something I do often is shadowbox which kills two birds with one stone. Not only does it get me moving, but it’s something I thoroughly enjoy doing.

Try To Organize 🗓️

This is always a challenge for me, so any kind of organizing, no matter how small, is better than nothing. One bad habit I have is opening another water bottle before I’ve finished a previous one. Then, once I finish both, they start piling up. Trash/recycling day is great because it allows me to take many empty bottles out of my room. Years ago I once had almost twenty empty bottles in my room. 😭
